Submission to the government of the Northwest Territories on their proposed dental hygienist profession regulations

CLHIA members support the Government of the Northwest Territories in their proposed regulations of the dental hygienist profession. Allowing dental hygienists to practice independently, without the supervision of a dentist, and with an expanded scope of services, will allow more people to have access to dental care, particularly those residing in communities where there is no dentist.
