The CLHIA wrote letters to federal, provincial and territorial ministers responsible for red tape reduction on the regulatory burden in the life and health insurance industry. To reduce burden and remove interprovincial trade barriers, the CLHIA calls on governments and regulators to harmonize licensing requirements for advisors and to support the mutual recognition of advisor licenses.
