CLHIA submits its views to the Ontario government on draft unlocking regulations

The CLHIA shared its views with the Ministry of Finance in Ontario on draft regulations to allow for greater unlocking of locked-in pension funds. The regulations follow similar unlocking rules introduced by other provinces. The submission calls for Ontario to harmonize with other jurisdictions and to ensure there is sufficient time to implement the new rules.
