CLHIA Report on Prescription Drug Policy

The current prescription drug system in Canada is inequitable to Canadians both in terms of access and price. It is also increasingly being challenged from a financial perspective by the ongoing growth in drug costs. The prescription drug system, therefore, must be fundamentally reformed if it is to serve Canadians well in the long-term. In this regard, the CLHIA's policy paper sets out actionable recommendations to reform prescription drug coverage in Canada
